Applicants interested in pursuing a career as a technician in the wind energy industry should consider the following:

  • There will be travel involved. Do you have a valid driver's license?  Yes No
  • Do you have an aptitude for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting?  Yes No
  • Are you prepared for the possibility of relocating?  Yes No

Please also consider that due to the nature of the position, students above the age of 50 may not be hired as a wind turbine technician.
